Manuscript Submission

The Journal of Criminal Justice and Law is now accepting manuscript submissions.

Essay Submission Procedure and Policy

JCJL welcomes unsolicited essays dealing with a legal issue in criminal justice. The journal may also solicit essays. Editorial decisions on essays will be made by the journal editor, in consultation with members of the Editorial Board if necessary.

Manuscripts should be submitted to jcjl@uhd.edu as Word documents (.doc, .docx) no more than 30 pages in length (including tables, figures, and references), and have the title at the top of the first page. Please include a separate title page, with a maximum 150 word abstract, and author contact information. Manuscripts should follow either the style guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association or Bluebook legal citation style.

Book Review Editorial Policy

Persons interested in writing book reviews for JCJL should contact the editor at jcjl@uhd.edu. The journal welcomes unsolicited book reviews and will publish them when the editor deems it appropriate. JCJL may also solicit book reviews, and invite publishers to submit books for book review consideration.
